Notchcard

Terms

Plain terms.

  1. What this is. Notchcard keeps count of a shop's stamp card (punch card) on its customers' phones. It is an independent tool run by WeldonPC at smalllocal.biz. It is not affiliated with Small & Local (smallandlocal.ca) or Quantum Link Inc., or with any chamber of commerce, city, buy-local program or social media group.
  2. The reward is the shop's. Each shop chooses its own reward and is the only one responsible for honoring it, changing it or ending it. Notchcard does not sell, hold, guarantee or pay out rewards, and a card has no cash value.
  3. Shops. Use your own business name, and offer only rewards you are allowed to give. Do not use Notchcard for alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, gambling or anything that is age-restricted or unlawful where you are. Anyone with your counter link can run your counter: keep it safe, and make a new link from Settings if it gets out. We cannot recover a lost counter link.
  4. Customers. A card is free. Anyone with a card's link can see it. If the shop deletes its counter or a card, the card stops working.
  5. Prices. Free (up to 30 cards); Counter Pass $1.95 a month or $19.50 a year; Market Week $1.00 once for seven days. Prices are plus any sales tax that applies. During the preview no payment is taken and everyone gets Counter Pass free. Plans can be cancelled any time and run to the end of the period paid for.
  6. Keeping counters. A counter not opened for 400 days is deleted with its cards. We work to keep the site up and backed up, but it is offered as is, without a promise that it will never be down.
  7. Changes. These terms may change; the date of the current version is shown below. Material changes to prices or to what we keep will be shown on the home page first.
