About
A paper punch card, minus the paper.
Paper stamp cards work, but they get lost in wallets, and a stamp is easy to copy. Notchcard keeps the same simple deal (come back, get rewarded) and moves the card to the customer's phone and the punch to your counter.
Who runs it
Notchcard is built and run by WeldonPC, a computer and web services company in Northeast Ohio. It lives at smalllocal.biz; the address is just an address, and the product's name is Notchcard.
What it is not
It is not a business directory, a marketplace, a marketing service, a payment system or an app store app. It does not message your customers, sell their data or show them other shops. It is not connected to Small & Local (smallandlocal.ca) or Quantum Link Inc., or to any chamber of commerce, city, buy-local program or social media group.
How it stays simple
No staff are needed to run it: you open a counter, print a sign and go. If something is wrong, the counter's settings page lets you change the reward, pause new cards, make a new sign code, make a new counter link or delete the whole counter.
